2010 Business Expo

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Business Expo & Craft Show will be held on April 17, 2010 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at Wilson Creek Elementary School, 25440 S. Gougar Road in Manhattan   Home based businesses will be accepted on the business side of the Expo this year!   Deadline to apply is March 15, 2010.  Applications may be downloaded by clicking on the “download forms” tab at the top of this page.

The Village of Manhattan

Manhattan was incorporated in 1886. We are an old and established community. Having its roots in farming, the village has grown over the last ten years to accommodate over 6000 people. Our forebears of German and Irish heritage give expression in our early spring festival Irish Fest.

One of the real advantages of living in Manhattan is the ease with which everyone works together to make our town better and better. The town's caboose from the Norfolk and Western Railway shows the fruits of the Historical Society, Village, Township and Park Board working together to get something done. This web site is another testament to that, for through the Chamber of Commerce's efforts, we are able to give visitors a central place to learn about our area, and allow residents to find answers to their questions about what is going on in the area.

For residents and visitors alike, this web site assembles most of what you need to know about the Manhattan area.
