The mission of the Lincoln-Way Foundation for Educational Excellence is to creatively generate financial support with which to enrich and enhance the opportunities & educational experiences of Lincoln-Way students. The success of the Foundation is forged by Manhattan community support, the dedication of our board of directors as well as countless volunteers. Our donations benefit the students at all three high schools. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, several annual fundraising activities support the fundraising goals of the Foundation including:
Commemorative Bricks: Placed on the walls of the respective Auditoriums.
Dinner Gala & Auction: Save the date of 2/10/24!
The Lincoln-Way Half Marathon & 10K: Saturday, 5/20/23 starting 7 am in downtown Frankfort!
School Calendar: Buy at registration online and pick up at open houses!
Summer Fest: Friday, 7/14/23 at CD & ME in Frankfort!

We fund over $30,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors at all three high schools combined each year. We also have funded hundreds of grant requests for classroom enhancements, most recently being a CNC Plasma Cutting Machine.

Business accomplishments we are most proud of?
Since inception, we have donated $4.7million to the students, teachers, and school programs to give the families in Lincoln-Way a competitive advantage in our region. Based upon the graduation rates, high test scores & amazing sports programs, we are proud to know our efforts have a positive impact on these types of results.
